As we’re having some fancy lighting at this years Out Of The Trees, we thought we’d make a gobo to project an image, here’s something I put together for that very purpose. A gobo is a stencil of sorts, used to block light and project an image.

This is one of the two designs for the Tshirts that are for sale at this years Out Of The Trees. It’s an oldish illustration but one I thought would be perfect for the event, and frankly, would look great on a white Tshirt.

If there’s any left after the festival I’ll be selling them here…

Yes, it is that time of year again where the darkest depths of Northumberland plays host to our strange little festival. We descend once again on Warkworth bringing you the finest selection of pop/folk/experimental /electronic acts that you should be clamouring to catch in the most intimate of settings…all the details are to be found at www.outofthetreesfestival.com

This year, aside from the posters I’ll be putting together a zine featuring illustrations, photos, writings and reviews and I’ll also be selling some T-shirts. I’ll post some of the designs here as they progress.

I’m working on something new for a forthcoming Jazzfinger 7″ to be released on Distraction Records, thought I might post some pics as it develops. Going to be developing some typography for it too. Keeping it GRIMM…

The beginnings of the cover is taking shape, using a combination of ink monoprints and uni pin pens.
